Noblesse oblige

In 1758, the noble house of Esterhazy from Austria/Hungary ordered to plant Pinot Noir vines from Burgundy in the Austrian Burgenland area. Tradition lives on and in 2006, successors invested 6 million Euros in a state-of-the-art winery.
